Solutions for error messages:
- TiaPlus not showing Help information under
Vista or Windows 7
Windows Vista and Windows 7 often cannot show the Help file for Tiaplus.
This problem can be solved by downloading the Windows Help Program
(WinHlp32.exe). The program can be download at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607/en-us. Please select the download
for your version of Windows.
- TiaPlus reporting a printing error when
using the 'Print...' button in the Output Viewer.
TiaPlus uses the Windows 'default' printer as assigned in the Windows
Control Panel. Use the Windows Control Panel to check if the correct printer
is selected, that this printer is available, on line and in working order.

You might want to (re) install the appropriate JET components. The required

- TiaPlus startup error message about not
being able to create recordsets
Please refer to the solution for run time error 429.
- Run time error '429'
This may indicate a missing, damaged or corrupt installation of the MS Data
Access Components (MDAC) software layer. TiaPlus uses this layer to
communicate with its data base. This problem can be solved by installing the
appropriate version of the MDAC layer. For Windows XP service pack 1 please
install the download from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5793. For
Windows XP servicepack 2 or 3 please follow the instructions that are
provided under “Method 2” at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/899861.
